Mr. Dermer is a seasoned entrepreneur who earned his undergraduate degree in Economics from Stanford University in 1985 and his law degree from Santa Clara University in 2005. Mr. Dermer has a multi-faceted career in business including a successful sales career with a Fortune-500 electronics company, Arrow Electronics in the mid-1980’s. In the late 1980’s he founded Better Image, a chain of hair and skin treatment clinics with both company owned and franchise locations. Dermer’s franchising activities spawned Emerging Solutions, a marketing and distribution company he co-founded. The company provided specialty chemical products to an international network of dealers. After a successful sale of both businesses in 1999, Dermer joined the executive team of Silicon Evolution, a specialized wafer manufacturing company which was acquired by a NASDAQ listed company in 2001. Mr. Dermer is a partner in the Dermer Law Firm, which was founded by his father in 1975. Mr. Dermer’s chief areas of practice include business transactional law, taxation and trusts and estates.
